Spring, Summer and Hay Fever
Hello Sunshine and Spring
The blue skies and sunshine really do lift the spirits. After a particularly long Scottish winter, it is beautiful seeing the plants, flower and trees blossom. As a consequence of the long winter, I believe “mother nature” and all her beauty is a month later on than normal springtime. I still have daffodils and tulips in my garden whilst my apple tree is in full blossom, the delicate and pretty flowers are dancing in the gentle breeze and the sun is illuminating the pinks and whites petals. I’m sitting in my garden enjoying the sun on my face while listening to the sounds of summer, birds chirping, lawn mowers humming and my neighbours’ toddlers laughing and playing in their gardens….bliss.
Alas, with the start of spring and summer it also heralds the sniffy noses, itches eyes of Hay Fever. In the past, I have suffered from Hay Fever. However, with the help of Acupuncture, Acupressure and PSYCH-K – I can now fully embrace summer and no longer suffer from my sneezing, itchy throat and eyes. If you are interested in finding out more about treatments that may help hay fever email or call me. I’m always happy to help.
I’ve also attached below a link to an advice note on the subject from the British Acupuncture Council.
